Complete A/C, Heat and Defrost System - 1947-1955 Chevy Truck

Custom Heat Cool & Defrost system for 1947-early 1955 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with compressor mounted on passenger side of engine. Custom mounting plate attaches the Hurricane unit to firewall using original heater mounting holes. The A/C & Heater fittings pass through the original factory blower motor hole with a custom rubber grommet. Compact design allows you to retain the cowl vent and a majority of the glove box.

Custom Molded Plenium fits along bottom edge of the dash. Plenium includes rectangular louvers and electronic rotary controls. An additional underdash louver is also included to for the left side of the steering column. If desired the plenium can be painted or covered with upholstry to match the interior of of the truck.

Complete System includes a rotary compressor, mounting bracket and condenser/drier assembly with custom tubes for a passenger side mounted compressor. A variety of compressor and mounting brackets are available to fit most popular chevrolet V8 & 6 cylinder engines. The AC hose kit is made with barrier style hose and oring style fittings.
